Jennifer Ellison has married her partner Rob Tickle in a secret ceremony in Mauritius.

The 26-year-old star, who is six months pregnant, had an intimate event away from family and friends.

The pair planned to tie the knot in August but had to put their plans on hold due to work commitments.

A few weeks later they found out they were expecting a baby and Jennifer said it was important to her to be married before having children.

Jennifer told OK! magazine: “One of the biggest things playing on my mind is not telling my mum, because we’re so close.

“But when we were planning the wedding in August there was so much stress and she was like ‘Why don’t you just run away and get married?’.

“When she said that, I didn’t feel as guilty.”
